August 24, 2021Round 08 #FRAWorldSbk COMBINED FREE PRACTICES
September 3, 2021Team HRC is in France, at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, the stage for what is the eighth round of the 2021 Superbike World Championship.
Last year’s French round was a challenging one for the Team HRC riders, the racing taking place in October which made for three wet races. With this year’s event running in September, the team hopes for more clement weather so as to be able to work consistently throughout the weekend.
The Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours was constructed in 1960 and is located close to the towns of Magny-Cours and Nevers, and roughly 250 km from Paris. In the past, the structure has hosted both Formula 1 and MotoGP races and has been a permanent fixture on the Superbike calendar since 2003. 4441 metres in length, the track boasts 17 turns and runs in a clockwise direction.

“Magny-Cours is always tricky, largely due to the weather as you never know if it’s going to be wet, mixed conditions or whatever. Last year we barely had an opportunity to ride in the dry, so we don’t have much data in those conditions. The track has a bit of everything anyway, hard braking, long turns, and many changes of direction. It’s a tricky one, but we’re keen to continue our development and are focused on rounding out the season in the best way possible. I want an enjoyable end to my season with HRC.”
